Welcome to Beach Boyz Wrestling!

The purpose of Beach Boyz Wrestling Club (BBWC) is to develop the novice wrestler in the fundamentals of wrestling and hone the skills of the more experienced wrestler.   Participation with BBWC not only develops a  more skilled wrestler,  but also a more agile, flexible, and healthier athlete.    Beach Boyz Wrestling Club also provides a safe environment with all club practices taking place in the mat room at First Colonial High School.   

Our coaching staff is led by Coach Rodney Johnson and Coach Chris Maynor.  Working alongside them, forming our well-rounded team are Jason Boswell,    Joseph Mavins, and Brad Capps.    Together, these coaches work to meet each individual wrestler at their own skill level while,  at the same time, challenging the group as a whole.    For more information about our coaches, please click here.

Club practices include physical conditioning, technique, skill instruction, and team building.  The wrestling room is located off First Colonial High School's main gym by the tennis courts (right side of the school). 

  Off Season (April-October): Tuesdays and Thursdays
PeeWee and Beginner:  5:00-6:00 pm
High School Lift: 5:00-6:00 pm
Advanced Middle School/High School: 6:00-7:30 pm.  

In Season (November-March) *Dates may vary depending on match schedules.
PeeWee and Beginner: Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:00-6:00 pm
Middle School: Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:00 - 7:30pm​
